Benedicte produces her work on the beach, in the mountains or anywhere during her exotic journeys around the world. She says that ’when I travel, I cant go without my stones and threads.. creating amazing accessories is like recreation for me. I enter my own little world and I discover great new color combinations and designs..’
Her jewellery adventure started whilst living in Rio de Janeiro in 2003. Amazed by handcrafts made by locals on the beach she decided to learn more and gradually started her own production. ’I felt drawn to it and started buying materials, gathered inspiration and tought myself the various techinques. I always travel to new and interesting places...during my trips I discover new things and I also often recognize similar handcrafted products made by locals. All the new experiences give life to my senses and bring ideas for developing new pieces.
